Dove sono i tuoi dati
La libreria è in ~/Documents/NeoArcadeX/Library.json (con copie di sicurezza nella cartella Backups accanto), una copia portatile è nella cartella delle ROM e le cache sono in ~/Library/Application Support/NeoArcadeX. Restano sul tuo Mac.
Licenza Premium
È un file salvato sul tuo Mac e verificato localmente, senza account né connessione. Il pagamento avviene su PayPal, fuori dall'app, e NeoArcadeX non riceve i tuoi dati di pagamento.
Servizi esterni
Contattati solo quando usi la funzione corrispondente:
- ScreenScraper.fr riceve il nome del file ROM, il sistema e il tuo account ScreenScraper (download di copertine, video e descrizioni).
- Wikidata riceve i titoli dei giochi.
- Google Gemini, solo se inserisci una tua chiave API, riceve la tua richiesta e un riepilogo dei giochi della libreria.
- libretro.com fornisce RetroArch e i core, quando ne richiedi l'installazione.
iCloud Drive
Salvataggi, stati, file BIOS, preferiti e statistiche di gioco sono nella cartella «NeoArcadeX Saves» e possono essere sincronizzati da Apple sugli altri tuoi Mac.
ROM e BIOS
L'app non fornisce, ospita o scarica ROM, file BIOS, chiavi o firmware.

In short: no analytics, no tracking, no profiling. NeoArcadeX has no servers of its own.
Where your data is
Your library is in ~/Documents/NeoArcadeX/Library.json (with safety copies in the Backups folder next to it), a portable copy is in your ROM folder, and caches are in ~/Library/Application Support/NeoArcadeX. It stays on your Mac.
Premium licence
It is a file stored on your Mac and verified locally, with no account and no connection. Payment happens on PayPal, outside the app, and NeoArcadeX does not receive your payment details.
External services
Contacted only when you use the matching feature:
- ScreenScraper.fr receives the ROM file name, the system and your ScreenScraper account (downloading covers, videos and descriptions).
- Wikidata receives game titles.
- Google Gemini, only if you enter your own API key, receives your query and a summary of the games in your library.
- libretro.com provides RetroArch and the cores, when you ask to install them.
iCloud Drive
Saves, states, BIOS files, favourites and play statistics are in the “NeoArcadeX Saves” folder and can be synced by Apple to your other Macs.
ROMs and BIOS
The app does not provide, host or download ROMs, BIOS files, keys or firmware.
